BOOT CARE

Boots should be worn in the type of weather conditions that they were made for. Rain boots are essential items to wear in the rain and slush. Sheepskin boots work well on dry, cold winter days. Booties should not be worn for long periods of time outdoors on cold days because they expose the toes.

If you wear a boot that is not made for moisture in wet conditions, you may cause irreversible damage. If a boot becomes dirty, you will need to adhere to care instructions for proper cleaning.

Sheepskin boots

Sheepskin boots are must-haves for wintry climates. But, they should not be worn through wet snow or slush. They can be cleaned with warm wet sponges and gentle soap cleansers. They should be dried away from direct heat, such as next to a heater vent, but not on top of the vent.

Rain boots

Rain boots can be worn in most conditions. They can easily be wiped with a warm cloth to clean any dirt or soot away. They can be air dried or wiped with a dry, soft cloth.

Leather boots

Leather boots can be protected by using a weather proofing spray made for leather shoes and footwear. This spray will
protect the boots from becoming cracked and worn prematurely. Leather boots must be cleaned with gentle care. Smooth leather can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried away from direct heat to prevent shrinking.
