I bought a pair for myself and also my daughter. I wear an 8 1/2, ordered size 9. My daughter wears a 7 or 7 1/2 and I ordered her the 7's. I probably could have gone down to a size 8 in these even though it advised going up to the next full size. They are comfortable and warm and my feet feel like heaven when I put them on after having heels on at work all day. We are both very happy with our BearPawz.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my boots. They are very warm and comfortable. I only wish they had 1/2 sizes mine were slightly big but if I would have gotten a size smaller, they would have been too small. It would also be nice if this style of boot would get more support in the soles- they are flat with no arch.

These boots are super comfy, but they get stretched out quickly and loose their shape. After a few months of wearing them almost daily I start feeling like they look like "bum shoes" because they are kinda saggy.

these boots are super warm! they rub against the back of my heel sometimes. i had to send them back once to get a bigger size. i wear an 8 usually and these boots called for a 10 for comfort, probably cause they are so thickly insulated inside. overall i like these boots, they are a nice style. if i could ask for something to be changed about them it would be to somehow fix the rubbing against my heel but really its not bad. they are a little clunky as you walk because of the lug sole but i don't mind that.

An excellent alternative to Uggs. The Pawz by Bearpaw are well made and affordable. The Bearpaws come in several boot length options. I purchased the 12 inch lug boot. Since I live in Chicago, it is important to have a boot that serves many purposes: warmth, fashionable, durable, and comfortable. I have worn them in six inches of snow and my feet never not got cold or even worse, wet. I have worn the boots both with and without socks. With socks, my feet sweat. I actually prefer to wear the without socks. The wool inside is thick and soft, I love the way the wool feels on my shins. The boots do run a little big in size, because with wear, the suede uppers stretch. So, I would suggest sizing down for a snugger fit. Furthermore, the suede uppers are well made and lush. I purchased them in black and all it takes is an occasional brushing and they look new again. The lug sole does make a difference. I have had a pair without the lug sole and found myself skidding on an unexpected ice patch. I do appreciate the added traction. Many people have commented that the boots look far more expensive than what I paid. The boots are truly worth every penny.
